I work at a pizza place and people will come in or place an order at knowing damn well we close at 10 and it takes 15 minutes to make and cook
If you look up a businesses hours and they say they close at then they better be open till 10:00. Like really most everyone that works a service job just wants to leave at the end of the day but that doesn't mean they get to close up shop 5 minutes early that's rude to their customers.

i kinda agree with the lower wages tho; you wouldn't ask the younger kid to work more difficult tasks or lift heavier stuff than the older one. Also, they require more guidance and the patience to explain even for those simple tasks. I'm saying from the experience of holiday jobs starting at the age of 15 until i finished diploma and work full-time.

as someone who worked at my local amusement park at 14 i can 100% tell you that the younger the workers, the better the workers. The adults i worked with all acted like spoiled little brats while the younger workers were very respectful and always on task. Kids are often unappreciated when it comes to jobs when most times they’re some of the hardest workers
